You’re Invited! It’s On Me!

Are you feeling a little stressed? Would you like to get away just for a moment right now? No kidding. Introducing my friend Yvonne for an experience of a lifetime. Enjoy!

Well, here I go; all excited, lightly packed, feet don’t fail me now. I can’t get there fast enough. Oh, wait. I forgot the earplugs. Ok, now I’m ready to go.

I intake a couple of deep, slow breaths releasing them slowly as to say, take off in 5…4…3…2…1 and I’m outta’ here.

I glide gracefully into my wonderland of today. Oh my! You have to see this. What a captivating view of the bluest sea I’ve ever laid my eyes on. The rays of the sunlight sparkling off the silkened surface of the water are not to be believed. The glistening mesmerizes you with it’s’ shine. What a hypnotic sight to behold.

I turn slowly wondering what my eyes will behold next. This can’t be real; I keep telling myself. The rest of my surroundings caused me to wonder “Is this heaven, dear God?” The panorama of the sloping mountain sides housed numerous naturally decorated cascading waterfalls. I’m in awe of this spectacular vision. To try and grasp the true gravity of my vision I begin to skip, touch, and smell everything I pass. Running, frolicking around like a playful child, happy to be free in a playground of beauty and great sensations.

“Lord, please don’t let me awake right now.” I’m in such a glorious place of solitude. Wow! Exotic flowers line the waterfalls from the top to the bottom. I see Bird of Paradise. Look! Calla Lilies of all kinds, Pineapple, Ginger, and many I don’t know.

The endless colors are so stimulating. Good Lord, they never cease. Look! Swarms of butterflies come to play with me. There are so many shapes, sizes and patterns. They’re all around me. “That tickles. Wha…Wha…What’s that sound?” It sounds like music. Where’s it coming from? I’ve got to find it. There it is. Unbelievable! It is two giant white doves in sizes I have never seen before. I have never heard such pleasing and soothing music before. Wow! This is the vacation of a lifetime. I don’t want to leave, but I know that I can always freely return to my paradise island.

Let me know what you think.

Keep the faith,
Blondie Clayton
